Ananya soch: In a remarkable display of grassroots governance, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma spent Friday morning walking through the lanes of Jajod village in Sikar district, directly interacting with villagers after holding a late-night rural chaupal on Thursday.

As the sun rose, villagers stepped out of their homes to find the Chief Minister already among them, moving through the streets with simplicity and warmth. The visit reflected the state government’s commitment to connecting governance with rural communities and understanding their concerns at the ground level.

Chief Minister Meets Farmers, Women, Youth and Traders

During his visit, the Chief Minister interacted with elderly residents, women, farmers, cattle rearers, fruit and vegetable vendors, and young people. He personally sought feedback regarding the implementation of public welfare schemes launched by the Rajasthan Government.

The informal conversations allowed villagers to openly share their experiences, expectations, and grievances. CM Sharma emphasized that governance becomes meaningful only when it reaches the last person in the queue and addresses real challenges faced by ordinary citizens.

Temple Visit and Blessings for Prosperity

As part of his morning tour, the Chief Minister visited Shri Gopinath Ji Temple and the Shiva Temple located in the village. He offered prayers for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Rajasthan.

The visit also carried an emotional touch as the Chief Minister interacted affectionately with children, asking about their studies and daily routines. He distributed chocolates among them, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the village.

Encouraging Farmers Towards Modern Agriculture

CM Sharma held detailed discussions with farmers regarding local crops, agricultural products, and traditional farming practices. He encouraged them to adopt advanced and scientific agricultural techniques to increase productivity and income.

He stated that innovation and modern farming methods could significantly improve the economic condition of rural families. According to him, the state government is working with sensitivity, accountability, and commitment to fulfill the aspirations of farmers and villagers.

The Chief Minister also reiterated that strengthening rural economies is essential for Rajasthan’s long-term growth and sustainability.

Immediate Action on Public Grievances

Listening carefully to villagers’ complaints and demands, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure quick and effective redressal of issues. He stressed the importance of transparent, time-bound, and quality disposal of revenue-related cases.

During the interaction, a Veerangana made an emotional appeal regarding the posting of her son, who is currently serving in Bhilwara. Showing compassion and prompt decision-making, the Chief Minister immediately ordered his deputation as an Inspector at the Sikar and Jhunjhunu District Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited in Palsana, Sikar.

The swift decision was appreciated by villagers and highlighted the government’s responsive approach toward public concerns.

Yamuna Water Agreement a Historic Achievement

The Chief Minister described the Yamuna Water Agreement as a historic achievement for Rajasthan’s farmers. He said the agreement would become a milestone in solving future water scarcity issues and expanding irrigation facilities across the state.

He further stated that Rajasthan is a land full of immense possibilities, and the government is continuously working towards heritage conservation, restoration of havelis, and preservation of cultural traditions.

Tea With Villagers and Push for Digital Transactions

In a unique gesture, CM Sharma shared tea with villagers and promoted digital transactions by making online payment through UPI. He said village life symbolizes purity, harmony, and cultural values deeply rooted in nature.

The Chief Minister remarked that the time has come to reverse the trend of migration from villages to cities. Instead, villages must emerge as strong centers of self-reliant development, employment, and opportunity.

Villagers expressed excitement and gratitude over the Chief Minister’s visit. Many said it was the first time they had witnessed a Chief Minister staying overnight in a village and personally understanding the concerns of rural people.

The event was attended by MLA Subhash Meel, Gordhan Verma, other public representatives, and a large number of villagers.
