Jio Just Changed the Game: Full Year of Entertainment Now Costs Just Rs 2000

Ananya soch:  Reliance Jio has expanded its OTT-Pass lineup by introducing two new long-validity plans for its subscribers. The telecom giant has added an 84-day pass priced at Rs 550 and a 365-day pass priced at Rs 2,000, joining the existing 28-day pass worth Rs 200. All three passes come loaded with high-speed data, unlimited 5G, access to 15 premium OTT apps and more than 1,000 live TV channels on JioTV. The new OTT-Pass is available exclusively for customers with an active annual base plan, while voice-only plans remain excluded from this offer.

What makes this launch particularly attractive is the direct savings it offers on longer subscriptions. Earlier, a customer opting for the 28-day pass three times would have ended up paying Rs 600 for 84 days. With the new pass priced at just Rs 550, users save a straight Rs 50. The savings are even bigger on the annual plan, where customers previously spent Rs 2,400 but will now pay only Rs 2,000, a reduction of Rs 400 for a full year of entertainment.

Data allowances also scale with the plan duration. The Rs 200 pass offers 30GB of high-speed data, the Rs 550 pass provides 90GB, while the annual Rs 2,000 pass comes with a generous 365GB. The OTT bundle includes YouTube Premium, JioHotstar Mobile with Hollywood content, and Amazon Prime, with the Rs 550 and Rs 2,000 passes offering Amazon Prime Lite membership. Additional platforms in the package include SonyLIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, SunNXT, FanCode, Hoichoi and several regional OTT services.

Subscribers will also get access to over 1,000 live channels via JioTV, including Star Plus HD, Colors HD, SET HD, Sun TV HD, Discovery and Cartoon Network. According to the company, this package delivers entertainment value worth more than Rs 1,500 every month. Both new passes, the Rs 550 and Rs 2,000 options, are available starting August 7 through the MyJio app, Jio's official website and authorized retail outlets across the country.
