Iran-Israel Tension Impacts Aviation: Gulf Flight Bookings Closed from Jaipur

Ananya soch: Rising tensions in the Middle East due to the Iran-Israel conflict have started affecting international aviation routes. Several flights from Jaipur International Airport to Gulf destinations have temporarily stopped accepting bookings due to security and airspace concerns.On Monday, only Air Arabia operated a flight from Jaipur, departing for Sharjah at 3:10 AM. Meanwhile, Etihad Airways has suspended bookings for two flights to Abu Dhabi, and Air India Express has halted bookings for its Jaipur–Dubai service.

NOTAM at Jaipur Airport from March 17–23

A NOTAM has also been issued at Jaipur Airport between March 17 and March 23, during which flight operations will remain suspended daily from 1 PM to 5 PM.

Because of this restriction:

  • 6 flights have been rescheduled

  • 2 flights temporarily cancelled

  • 1 flight frequency reduced

Airlines including Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet have adjusted departure times to minimize passenger inconvenience. Officials advise passengers to check the latest flight schedules with airlines before heading to the airport.
