Scholarship Deadline Extended! Students Get Final Chance Till July 20
Thousands of students across Rajasthan have received a major boost as the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme application deadline has been extended. The move gives both students and educational institutions additional time to complete registration and avoid missing out on financial assistance.
Ananya soch: In a major relief for students, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has extended the last date for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme applications and registrations to July 20, 2026. The extension is expected to benefit thousands of eligible students who could not complete the application process before the earlier deadline.
Previously, the last date for submitting applications through the Scholarship Portal was June 30, 2026. With the revised schedule, students now have an additional 20 days to complete their Paperless Online Application and registration.
The decision also provides significant relief to Government and Private recognized educational institutions. Colleges and institutes have been granted additional time to complete Registration, Renewal, Course Mapping, Recognition, and Fee Structure Updates, ensuring that students do not face delays due to pending institutional formalities.
Department Director Lalit Kumar said the deadline was extended after considering requests from students and educational institutions. The objective is to ensure that every eligible applicant gets sufficient time to complete the online process without unnecessary pressure.
Officials have advised students to avoid waiting until the last day, as heavy traffic on the Scholarship Portal may lead to technical issues. Completing the application well in advance will help ensure a smooth registration process.
The department has also indicated that this is likely to be the final extension. Students who fail to submit their applications by July 20 may miss the opportunity to receive scholarship benefits for the current academic session.
