Rajasthan Film Carnival 2026 to Be Held in Jaipur on October 3, Regional Cinema to Take Center Stage
In a major boost for Rajasthani Cinema and regional filmmaking, the Rajasthan Film Carnival 2026 will be held on October 3 at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Jaipur. The event aims to celebrate regional cinema, honour outstanding artists, and promote Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage.
Ananya soch: The Rajasthan Film Carnival 2026 will be organized on October 3 at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Jaipur. The announcement was made by State President Ujagar Singh Dabla. The event is being organized by Star Films Infotainment with the support of the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan.
Founder of the Rajasthan Film Carnival, Govind Singh Rajput, said the primary objective of the event is to promote Rajasthani language, culture, and regional cinema while recognizing the contributions of actors, directors, producers, technicians, writers, and other distinguished personalities associated with the film industry.
He informed that all nominated films will be evaluated by a panel of expert jurors. The selected films and artists will be honoured in 25 different award categories during the Rajasthan Film Carnival Awards 2026.
Event Director Neeraj Khandelwal said the carnival will provide a strong platform for regional filmmakers and emerging talent. It will also encourage film production in Rajasthan while creating new opportunities for artists, technicians, and creative professionals. The event is expected to contribute to the growth of tourism, art, and culture in the state.
Apart from the award ceremony, the carnival will feature vibrant Rajasthani folk cultural performances, showcasing the state's rich artistic heritage. Organizers believe the event will become an important platform for Rajasthan's film industry and help regional cinema gain greater recognition at the national level.
