According to the makers, the film will now release on October 9, 2026, landing just two days before Navratri. It was originally slated to hit screens on September 11, 2026, but has now been shifted to October to align with the festive season, giving the makers a better shot at pulling in larger audiences during the Navratri holidays.

'Udta Teer' marks the second onscreen collaboration between Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, who previously shared screen space in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2'. The film is a high-energy spy comedy that blends the world of espionage with humour and family entertainment. Expect plenty of chaos and comic situations woven through the plot, promising both laughs and thrills for audiences.
Debut Director, Backed by Two Major Production Houses
The film marks the directorial debut of Aakash A. Kaushik, who has also written the story himself. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, marking the fourth collaboration between the two banners. The producers include Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain. The film was shot across Mumbai and Delhi, and features a special patriotic song performed with hundreds of dancers. The music has been composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar.
