Jaipur Metro to Remain Partially Closed on Dhulandi; Services Resume from 2:10 PM on March 3

Ananya soch: The Jaipur Metro has announced a partial suspension of passenger services on March 3, 2026, on the occasion of Dhulandi. As per the revised schedule, metro train operations will remain suspended from 5:20 AM to 2:00 PM. Services will resume at 2:10 PM and continue uninterrupted until 10:21 PM. The metro administration stated that the decision has been taken in view of Holi celebrations while ensuring public safety and maintaining order. Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the temporary closure. Authorities have also appealed to citizens not to play with colors or create disturbances within metro premises, platforms, or trains. Carrying gulal, liquid colors, water-filled balloons, pichkaris, and bottles inside the metro is strictly prohibited. Entry in intoxicated condition is not allowed. Passengers wearing color-stained clothes that may soil metro property will also be restricted. Under the provisions of the Metro Railway (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002, penalties may be imposed for damaging or dirtying metro property. Chairman and Managing Director Vaibhav Galriya extended Holi greetings to Jaipur residents and urged commuters to take note of the revised timetable to avoid travel disruptions.
