Yugpravartak Dr. Hedgewar’ Play Inspires Audience with Message of Nation Building
Governor Haribhau Bagde Praises Theatrical Presentation, Calls Dr. Hedgewar’s Vision a Source of Inspiration
Ananya soch: A powerful theatrical presentation based on the life and ideals of Keshav Baliram Hedgewar captivated the audience at Birla Auditorium on Saturday evening. The play, ‘Yugpravartak Dr. Hedgewar’, staged by Nagpur-based cultural organisation “Nad Brahma,” highlighted the nationalist vision, social values and inspirational journey of Dr. Hedgewar.
Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde attended the special performance and appreciated the initiative taken by the theatre group. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari was also present during the event.
Addressing the gathering before the performance, Governor Bagde said that a nation is not merely a geographical territory but a reflection of shared values, culture, traditions and collective consciousness. He stated that Dr. Hedgewar dedicated his life to spreading this nationalist thought among the masses and worked tirelessly to build a disciplined and united society.
Recalling several incidents from Dr. Hedgewar’s life, the Governor said that the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh always placed the nation above everything else. He added that the organisation was established on Vijayadashami with the vision of creating a socially strong, organised and patriotic society. Dr. Hedgewar strongly opposed caste discrimination and believed that social divisions should be eradicated from the roots.
The play portrayed the struggles, ideology and leadership of Dr. Hedgewar through impactful dialogues and emotionally engaging scenes. The audience applauded the artists for bringing historical and ideological narratives alive on stage.
Governor Bagde praised “Nad Brahma” for presenting a production that not only introduces audiences to Dr. Hedgewar’s life but also inspires citizens to contribute towards building a stronger India.
