Jaipur is ready for an evening of soulful ghazals and timeless melodies. Ghazalnama 2026 will feature Jaswinder Singh and a special honour presented by Grammy-winning musician Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.
Ananya soch: The Pink City is gearing up for a special Musical Evening as cultural organisation The Kalamanch presents “Ghazalnama – An Evening of Ghazal and Geet” on Sunday at 6:15 pm at Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Vidyashram. The event will bring together music lovers and artists for an evening dedicated to the beauty of Ghazal and Indian Music.
One of the biggest highlights of the evening will be popular ghazal singer Jaswinder Singh, who will be honoured with the Madan Mohan Award 2026. The prestigious honour will be presented by Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri and Grammy Award Winner Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.
Ghazalnama’s Buzz Reaches Spain and the UK
During a Press Conference held on Saturday at Amar Palace on Ajmer Road, Jaswinder Singh spoke about the growing response to the Jaipur event.
He revealed that the buzz around the programme has travelled far beyond Jaipur. According to Singh, he has received messages from people in Spain and the UK who came to know about the event and expressed their interest in attending the show.
He said that while the programme is being organised in Jaipur, its discussion has already reached an international audience, making it an interesting example of how local cultural events can attract global attention.
Months of Preparation Behind the Musical Evening
Jaswinder Singh also appreciated the efforts of The Kalamanch organisers, including Rajesh Sharma and Satindra Singh, along with the entire team.
He said preparations and publicity for the programme have been underway for the last two to three months. The team has worked continuously to create awareness about the event and connect it with music lovers.
According to Singh, such Public Cultural Shows play an important role in taking traditional art forms beyond conventional audiences.
Teenagers Are Also Finding a Connect with Ghazals
Jaswinder Singh shared an interesting experience from his performances around the world. He said that teenagers are increasingly becoming part of his shows.
Sometimes parents bring their children along even when they are not initially interested in attending a ghazal programme. However, by the end of the show, many of them reportedly tell their parents that they enjoyed the experience.
For Singh, this is an indication that Ghazal Music can connect with younger audiences when presented in an engaging manner. He also emphasised the importance of Media and Promotion in taking ghazals to a wider audience.
Artists From Mumbai, Delhi, Varanasi and Rajasthan Together
The organisers said that artists from Mumbai, Varanasi, Delhi, Ajmer and Jodhpur will be part of the musical evening. The programme is expected to bring together different artistic styles on one stage.
The presentation of the Madan Mohan Award 2026 to Jaswinder Singh by Vishwa Mohan Bhatt will remain one of the key moments of the evening.
Only a Few Seats Left for the Event
According to the organisers, Ticket Booking is still available, but only a limited number of seats remain. Music lovers can book tickets through The Kalamanch’s official website as well as at the Event Venue.
With ghazal, geet, live performances and a special honour coming together, Ghazalnama 2026 is set to create a memorable musical evening in Jaipur.
