Rajasthan’s Rupahli Textile Park Emerges as a Mega Investment Destination

Ananya soch: Rajasthan is rapidly strengthening its position as a leading textile manufacturing hub, and the Rupahli Textile Park in Bhilwara is emerging as a major destination for industrial investment. In a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs and textile manufacturers, RIICO has launched the tenth phase of its direct allotment scheme, offering industrial plots ranging from 1,500 square metres to 36,000 square metres for textile-related industries.

Investors who have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Rajasthan Government under the Rising Rajasthan initiative can apply online through RIICO’s portal until May 14, 2026. Entrepreneurs who have not yet executed MoUs can also participate by completing the process before the deadline.

Modern Textile Hub with Advanced Facilities

Developed by RIICO in Hurda tehsil of Bhilwara district, the Rupahli Textile Park is designed to support a wide range of textile industries, including cotton and natural fibre units, man-made fibre manufacturing, garments and ready-made apparel, technical textiles, handloom and handicrafts, wool processing and textile accessories.

Spread across nearly 209 hectares, the park includes 275 industrial plots ranging from 500 square metres to 1.25 lakh square metres. The integrated textile ecosystem will provide modern infrastructure and essential facilities for spinning, weaving, processing and garment manufacturing units, enabling industries to operate efficiently and competitively.

Infrastructure Development Worth Rs 221 Crore

RIICO has already approved approximately Rs 221 crore for the development of the industrial area. Construction of roads, culverts, boundary walls and other infrastructure facilities is progressing rapidly. Work orders for electricity lines and high-mast lighting systems have also been issued, ensuring uninterrupted industrial operations in the future.

The industrial park has additionally received environmental clearance from the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, making the establishment process easier and smoother for investors.

Attractive Benefits Under Textile Policy 2025

Industries investing in the park under the Rajasthan Textile and Apparel Policy-2025 will receive several incentives, including asset creation incentives for up to 10 years, exemption in stamp duty and electricity duty, green solution incentives for eco-friendly projects and reimbursement of 50 percent of employee training expenses. MSME units will also receive additional benefits under the Rajasthan MSME Policy-2024.

The Rajasthan Government’s ambitious initiative aims to transform the state into a premier textile manufacturing and export hub of India. By setting up industries in Rupahli Textile Park, investors can benefit from lower production costs, strong policy support and long-term industrial growth opportunities.
