The event brought together renowned artists, timeless compositions, and soulful renditions that created an atmosphere filled with emotion and artistic brilliance.
Hirendra Kumar Bhatt Opens the Evening with Soul-Stirring Ghazals
The first segment of the evening featured a remarkable performance by emerging artist Hirendra Kumar Bhatt and his group. The program commenced with the evergreen ghazal “Tumko Dekha To Ye Khayal Aaya,” which instantly connected with the audience through its soothing melody and heartfelt expression.
The musical journey continued with the iconic composition “Ye Daulat Bhi Le Lo,” which received tremendous appreciation from music lovers present at the venue. Adding further charm to the evening, Hirendra Kumar Bhatt presented his specially composed rendition “Bana Bana Ke Tamanna,” filling the atmosphere with romance and nostalgia.
A particularly emotional moment of the evening came when Hirendra Kumar Bhatt paid a heartfelt musical tribute to legendary singer Asha Bhosle, leaving the audience touched and nostalgic.
The supporting musicians also delivered outstanding performances, with Gulzar Hussain on violin, Ashfaq Hussain on keyboard, Bilal Hussain on guitar, Farid Khan on octopad, and Mehraj Hussain on tabla adding richness and depth to the musical experience.
Tribute to Rabindranath Tagore Adds Spiritual and Cultural Essence
The second segment of the evening was dedicated to the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore and featured an enthralling presentation by Yashraj Gandharv and his ensemble.
The performance began with Tagore’s timeless masterpiece “Ekla Chalo Re” and gradually unfolded into a soulful medley of legendary ghazals and melodies including “Ranjish Hi Sahi,” “Chupke Chupke,” “Gulon Mein Rang Bhare,” “Dil-e-Nadaan,” and “Tu Hi Re.” The emotionally charged renditions filled the venue with spiritual and cultural energy.
Yashraj Gandharv, who also led the main vocals and harmonium, was accompanied by Nirmal Ji on tabla and Satyajeet Sanju on keyboard. Their synchronized performance received loud applause from the audience.
