Eight Legendary Music Directors, One Magical Evening: Jaipur Set to Relive Bollywood’s Golden Era with ‘The Golden 8: Music of Masters’

Jaipur is all set to witness that musical magic on June 20 as ‘The Golden 8: Music of Masters’ promises an unforgettable tribute to the architects of Hindi cinema’s most cherished songs.
Ananya soch: A grand musical celebration dedicated to eight legendary composers of Bollywood Music’s Golden Era will take center stage in the Pink City on June 20. The much-awaited event, “The Golden 8: Music of Masters,” will be held at Maharana Pratap Auditorium (Vidyashram) at 6 PM, bringing together timeless melodies that continue to resonate across generations.
The event’s official poster was unveiled by noted social worker and BJP leader Ravi Nair, who praised the initiative for preserving and promoting India’s rich musical heritage. He said such programs play a vital role in connecting younger audiences with the golden legacy of Hindi film music.
Organized by Kataria Entertainment Group and Rohit Kataria Music Academy, the evening will pay tribute to eight legendary music maestros — O.P. Nayyar, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Salil Chowdhury, Khayyam, R.D. Burman, S.D. Burman, Roshan, and Shankar-Jaikishan. Their evergreen compositions, which defined decades of Indian cinema, will be recreated live through soulful performances.
The musical lineup features members of the Kataria family, including Chandra Kataria, Anuradha Kataria, Vrinda Kataria, Dr. Akanksha Kataria, and Rohit Kataria. Accompanied by the S.M. Band, the artists will take audiences on a nostalgic journey through some of Bollywood’s most memorable songs. The evening will be hosted by Gaurav Sharma.
Directed by Chandra Kataria and conceptualized by Aarohit, the event is being presented by RKMA with support from Amar Palace.
