Empowering Change: Women’s Workforce Growth Key to Economic & Social Progress, Says Vrinda Kothari
Vision 2026–27 Unveiled by FICCI FLO Jaipur Chairperson
Ananya soch: Highlighting the critical role of women in nation-building, newly appointed Chairperson of FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter, Vrinda Kothari, emphasized that increasing women’s participation in the workforce is essential for both economic growth and social development. She shared this vision during a meeting held at Rajasthan International Center, Jaipur, where she also outlined her roadmap for the 2026–27 term.
A Collaborative Leadership Approach
Kothari acknowledged that a one-year tenure often falls short of achieving long-term goals. To address this, she announced a collaborative approach with the former chairperson to ensure continuity and completion of ongoing initiatives. “It’s not just about individual leadership; the entire Jaipur chapter is united and committed to working together,” she stated.
Expressing gratitude for the support received over the past 18 years, Kothari credited the organization’s success to strong partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and corporate sectors, all working collectively towards women’s empowerment.
Focus on Women Entrepreneurship & Economic Inclusion
Outlining her key priorities, Kothari revealed that the 2026–27 agenda will strongly focus on promoting women entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. She stressed the need to build a strong and supportive community of women leaders and professionals.
“Despite progress, women’s participation in India’s workforce remains low. Increasing this participation is not just important—it’s necessary for sustainable economic and social advancement,” she remarked.
Strengthening Grassroots Impact
FICCI FLO Jaipur aims to amplify awareness and outreach of government schemes like “Lakhpati Didi” and “Namo Drone Didi,” ensuring more women at the grassroots level benefit from these initiatives. The organization plans to actively connect women with such schemes, enabling financial independence and skill development.
Key Sectors & Theme Announcement
Kothari identified four major sectors for focused intervention—textiles and handicrafts, agro-based industries, green technology, and tourism. These sectors hold significant potential for women-led growth and employment generation.
On the occasion, the annual theme for 2026–27, “Connect Within and Beyond,” was officially unveiled, reflecting a vision of inner growth and external collaboration.
With a dynamic vision and a strong collaborative spirit, FICCI FLO Jaipur is set to drive impactful change, empowering women to become key contributors to India’s growth story.
