10th Jaipur Film World to Celebrate Independent Cinema on April 26

Ananya soch: The vibrant city of Jaipur is all set to host the 10th edition of Jaipur Film World on April 26, 2026, offering a unique cinematic experience for film lovers. This one-day film festival will be held at Science Park Auditorium, Shastri Nagar, starting from 10:00 AM.

Founder and Director Subhash Kumawat shared that the festival will feature screenings of more than 20 selected films from India and across the globe. The lineup includes feature films, short films, animation, and documentaries, all centered on socially relevant themes designed to inspire thought and meaningful discussion among audiences.

Festival Patron Suresh Mudgal highlighted some of the प्रमुख films to be screened, including A Flash in the Pan, Calorie, Dharau, Gramophone, Kalive Vanam, Mandi House Ka Mental, No Dogs Allowed, Ranga, Under the Banyan Tree, Kalpavriksha – The Mythical Tree, Double Bed, Keel, Riha, Rumi, Surajmukhi, The Legend of Hanuman Ji, Workbook, Hijr, Aur Phir…, Khabar, Gangajal, and Under the Snow.

The festival serves as a dynamic platform for independent filmmakers, enabling them to present their creative work to a wider audience and foster meaningful social dialogue through cinema. It continues to support storytelling that reflects human emotions, contemporary realities, and pressing social issues.

This year’s edition places a special emphasis on films created by emerging talents from Rajasthan, celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage and growing contribution to cinema. Notable regional entries include Khabar directed by Manish Solanki, Gangajal by Ashwani Kumawat and Manish Solanki, Under the Snow produced by Deepankar Prakash, Aur Phir… directed by Raghav Tiwari, Keel directed by Ankit Bhardwaj, and Double Bed directed by Kartik.

Through these films, audiences will engage with compelling narratives that explore social concerns, human sensitivity, and modern-day challenges. The festival aims not only to provide a strong platform for emerging filmmakers but also to elevate regional cinema to national and international recognition.
