A New Chapter in Rajasthani Cinema: “Karj Ro Fando Loan” to Premiere on Stage Rajasthani App on October 31
Ananya soch: Renowned writer and filmmaker Dheeraj Mishra, who has made a distinct mark in the Hindi film industry, is set to make his debut in the Rajasthani language with a powerful social drama titled “Karj Ro Fando Loan.” The film is scheduled to release on October 31 exclusively on the Stage Rajasthani App.
Known for his impactful storytelling, Dheeraj Mishra has penned and produced several acclaimed films and television projects. He also collaborated with Ramayan fame Dipika Chikhlia in the popular TV series Dhartiputra Nandini. This time, Mishra has teamed up with noted Vastu expert Manoj Jain to produce this Rajasthani-language film, written by Mishra himself.
The story of Karj Ro Fando Loan revolves around an ordinary woman who falls prey to the lure of “instant loans” and soon finds herself trapped in a vicious cycle of debt and despair. Highlighting the psychological and financial trauma behind quick loans, the film sheds light on a growing social issue. Mishra shared that the idea for the story came to him after reading a newspaper article about a woman whose life was devastated by predatory lending practices.
Directed by Raja Randip Giri, the film has been shot entirely in and around Jaipur and runs for about one hour. Beyond entertainment, it carries a strong social message about financial awareness and exploitation.
The cast includes Dalpat Malviya, Shefali, Rana, Renu Seth, and Vivaan, all of whom play pivotal roles. The film has been produced under the banner of Mahapragya Creations.
Speaking about his connection with the Rajasthani language, Mishra revealed that he grew up in Jharia, where the Marwari community has a significant presence. This cultural bond, he said, has always drawn him towards the Rajasthani dialect, which played a key role in the making of this film.
Expressing gratitude to the Stage Rajasthani team, Mishra commended their efforts in promoting regional language and culture through cinema. He described Karj Ro Fando Loan not merely as a film, but as a thought-provoking reflection on the growing menace of debt traps that continue to impact countless lives today.
