Ananya soch: The Pink City is set to witness a vibrant celebration of creativity and performance as the renowned Rang Sadhana Theatre Group launches its special two-month Acting Workshop, ‘Aao Acting Karen’, at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) from June 25. The workshop will continue until August 25, 2026, and is open to participants aged 15 years and above.

Designed for young talents dreaming of a career in Acting, Theatre, Television, Radio, and the Performing Arts, the workshop aims to provide professional guidance while helping participants overcome stage fear and build self-confidence.

According to Rang Sadhana Theatre Group Founder and Theatre Director Vivek Mathur, the initiative is focused on identifying and nurturing hidden creative talent among youth. He believes that theatre is not only an art form but also a powerful medium for personality development, communication skills, and self-expression.

The workshop will go beyond conventional acting lessons. Participants will receive practical exposure to key aspects of Theatre Production, including Lighting Design, Sound Management, Music Coordination, Stage Presentation, and Backstage Operations. Industry experts from various theatre disciplines will also share their experiences, giving attendees valuable insights into the professional world of performing arts.

One of the major highlights of the programme is the involvement of experienced theatre professionals. Training sessions will be conducted by accomplished artists, including TV, Radio and Theatre Director Vivek Mathur and noted writer-actor Bijendra Singh. Through interactive sessions, they will introduce participants to dialogue delivery, character development, body language, voice modulation, and stage performance techniques.

The workshop will be held daily from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, creating a structured environment where participants can learn, practice, and grow. Organisers believe that the programme will serve as a stepping stone for aspiring performers looking to make a mark in the entertainment and theatre industry.
