“If You Want to Achieve Something in Life, Learn to Enjoy Your Struggles”: Raghubir Yadav

Ananya soch: Veteran actor Raghubir Yadav, best known for his memorable role in the hit web series Panchayat, believes that true success comes from embracing hardships rather than avoiding them. Speaking during the 19th Collage of Kilkari National Children’s & Teens Personality Development Based Theatre Workshop in Jaipur, the acclaimed actor shared valuable insights about theatre, life lessons, creativity, and personal growth.

In an exclusive interaction, Yadav reflected on his journey from music to theatre and explained why art remains one of the most powerful tools for shaping young minds.

Q. You have visited Jaipur many times. What makes the city special for you?

Raghubir Yadav: I have a long association with the Pink City. I have come here several times for theatre productions and music events. Jaipur has a highly aware and art-loving audience. Every visit brings warmth and positive energy.

Q. How has Theatre influenced your life?

Raghubir Yadav: Honestly, I never imagined I would achieve this level of recognition. Theatre transformed my life completely. It is not merely a platform for learning acting; it teaches people how to understand life, emotions, relationships, and society. Theatre helps individuals see the world from different perspectives.

Q. Can Theatre help children deal with modern-day challenges?

Raghubir Yadav: Absolutely. If children are introduced to theatre in the right way, issues like frustration and depression can be reduced significantly. Theatre makes life more meaningful and engaging. It is important to create a genuine passion for theatre among young people rather than treating it as just a stage performance.

Q. What role do Arts play in today's Digital Age?

Raghubir Yadav: In a world dominated by screens and technology, children need to stay connected with their roots and inner selves. Music, Dance, Painting, and Theatre never allow a person to feel lonely. Art provides emotional strength and spiritual connection.

Q. What is the biggest lesson your journey has taught you?

Raghubir Yadav: Life presented many challenges, but I always tried to learn from them. I started with music and later entered theatre, where I discovered a beautiful way of looking at life. If you want to become something in life, you must learn to enjoy your struggles. I choose projects that allow me to learn and experiment rather than repeating the same kind of roles.

Workshop Director Gagan Mishra said participants also staged a thought-provoking performance on the issue of Paper Leak Scams, taking a sharp dig at systemic failures. The presentation received enthusiastic applause from the audience. Children also showcased their talent through dance, singing, and acting performances.
