RPSC Increases SI and Assistant Engineer Vacancies, Thousands Get a Fresh Opportunity

Ananya soch: In a major boost for government job aspirants, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has increased the number of posts in the highly anticipated Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander Recruitment 2025 and Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024. The Commission has also issued a revised Corrigendum reflecting the updated category-wise vacancy distribution, raising hopes among thousands of candidates preparing for these competitive examinations.

According to the latest notification, the recruitment drive for Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander posts under the Home Department was originally announced for 1,015 vacancies. However, following a revised requisition from the department, the number of Sub-Inspector (AP) Non-Scheduled Area (NSA) posts has been increased by 61 seats. As a result, vacancies in this category have risen from 896 to 957 posts.

Notably, there has been no change in the previously advertised vacancies for Sub-Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area, Sahariya Category, Sub-Inspector (IB), and Platoon Commander posts.

In another significant development, the Commission has also revised vacancies under Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024. A corrigendum issued for the Water Resources Department confirms an increase of 23 posts in the Assistant Engineer (Civil) category. With this revision, the number of vacancies has increased from 156 to 179 posts.

The Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024 was originally announced for a total of 1,014 vacancies, and the latest enhancement is expected to improve selection prospects for engineering graduates across Rajasthan.

Recruitment experts believe that the increase in vacancies reflects the government's efforts to strengthen administrative and technical manpower in key departments. More importantly, it provides a valuable opportunity for candidates who have been preparing for these examinations for months.

With the revised vacancy numbers now officially released, aspirants are eagerly awaiting the next stages of the recruitment process, making these developments one of the most closely watched updates in Rajasthan’s government employment sector.
