VGU and PRCI Jaipur Chapter Sign Strategic MoU
Students to Gain New Opportunities in Media, Public Relations and Corporate Communication
Ananya soch: Vivekananda Global University has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Public Relations Council of India to strengthen academic and professional collaboration in the fields of journalism, public relations, corporate communication, and media education. The partnership aims to provide students, researchers, and faculty members with industry-oriented training, research exposure, internships, and practical learning opportunities aligned with the evolving media landscape.
Strong Presence of Academic and Industry Leaders
The MoU signing ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of senior representatives from both organizations. Representing the university were Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.D. Mathur, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. D.V.S. Bhagavanulu, Director of Training and Placement Cell Dr. Dheeraj Singh, and Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication Deepak Prasad.
From the PRCI Jaipur Chapter, President Somendra Harsh, Secretary Sunny Kulshreshtha, Joint Secretary Dr. Rahul Babu Kodali, along with other office bearers and members, attended the event. Faculty members including Dr. Sachin Pratap Singh, Mrs. Rama Choudhary, Dr. Vikas Kumar, and Falguni Sharma, along with several academicians and PRCI members, also participated in the program.
Focus on Skill Development and Industry Exposure
Under the MoU, both institutions will jointly organize seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures, interaction sessions with industry experts, research activities, and skill development programs. Students will also receive opportunities for internships and professional training in public relations, advertising, and corporate communication sectors.
University officials emphasized that the media and public relations industry is undergoing rapid transformation, making it essential for students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical industry exposure. The collaboration is expected to help students develop professional competencies and connect with better career and employment opportunities.
Research, Live Projects and Professional Networking
Representatives of PRCI described the initiative as a major step toward strengthening media education and professional networking. They stated that such collaborations would help young learners understand emerging national and international trends in communication and public relations.
The MoU will also facilitate joint research projects, publications, media campaigns, and awareness programs related to social issues.
