“Midnight in Sarees: Jaipur Women Redefine Safety & Confidence with Inspiring Night Out”
“Stuck on My Pallu” initiative turns a late-night heritage walk into a powerful message of women’s safety and empowerment
Ananya soch: In an inspiring initiative promoting women’s safety and confidence, members of the “Stuck on My Pallu” group organized a unique late-night heritage trip across the city. The night-out was hosted by the group’s founder Mamta Mot (Invogue Naari), bringing together women for a bold and meaningful experience.
A Night Journey Through Heritage Landmarks
The journey began at 12:30 AM from Patrika Gate, followed by visits to Amer Fort and Maota Lake around 1:30 AM. The group then moved towards Jal Mahal and concluded the trip at Hawa Mahal at approximately 3:00 AM. Throughout the route, visible police deployment ensured a sense of safety and reassurance for all participants.
Saree-Clad Confidence on the Streets
What made the initiative truly special was the dress code—every participant wore a saree, blending tradition with modern confidence. The experience of exploring Jaipur’s iconic landmarks at night, dressed in ethnic attire, made the event both memorable and symbolic.
A Strong Message of Safety & Empowerment
Participants shared that the initiative aims to convey a powerful message: with proper arrangements and awareness, women can safely explore the city even at night. The event highlighted both the growing confidence among women and the improving safety environment of the city.
Prominent participants included Reema Kothari, Sandhya, Puneet Kaur, Harshita, Ankita, Nisha, Manjari, Dr. Richa, and Pragati.
