RIICO invites private developers under Industrial Park Promotion Policy-2026; applications open from June 1
Rajasthan’s Mega Industrial Push Begins: 645 Hectares, 9 Locations and a Vision to Become India’s Next Global Manufacturing Hub
Ananya soch. Rajasthan is gearing up for a massive industrial transformation with the rollout of the ambitious Industrial Park Promotion Policy-2026. In a move expected to attract large-scale investments and generate employment opportunities, RIICO has officially started the process of developing world-class industrial parks through private developers across the state.
Under Model ‘A’ and Model ‘D’ of the new policy, industrial parks will be developed at nine locations covering nearly 645 hectares of land. Applications from private developers will be invited from June 1 onward.
The policy, unveiled by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on March 18, 2026, is being seen as one of Rajasthan’s biggest industrial infrastructure initiatives in recent years. RIICO Managing Director Suresh Ola said the policy aims to promote scientific and sustainable use of land, water and energy resources while strengthening logistics and industrial infrastructure across the state.
According to RIICO, around 374 hectares of land will be developed under Model ‘A’, where private developers will build industrial parks on land allotted by RIICO. Key locations include Balotra, Dholpur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Dausa, Bundi and Didwana-Kuchaman.
Meanwhile, under Model ‘D’, industrial parks will be developed on 271 hectares through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in Ajmer and Dausa districts. Officials believe these projects could significantly boost Rajasthan’s industrial ecosystem and position the state as a future-ready investment destination.
The policy includes four development models — A, B, C and D — offering flexibility to developers in terms of land arrangement and infrastructure development. To ensure quality and scale, each private industrial park must cover a minimum of 50 acres and include at least 10 industrial units.
Industry experts believe the initiative could reshape Rajasthan’s economic landscape by attracting domestic and global investors. With applications opening in just days, all eyes are now on how quickly these mega industrial hubs take shape on the ground.
