Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the pan-India sports action drama promises a gripping mix of rural emotions, sports rivalry and high-voltage action set against the backdrop of 1980s Andhra Pradesh.
The trailer introduces Ram Charan as “Peddi Pahalwan,” a fearless village hero who unites his community during a battle for pride, land and survival. From wrestling arenas to cricket grounds, the actor appears in an intense and physically demanding avatar that has impressed fans across platforms.
AR Rahman’s Music Elevates the Trailer
One of the biggest highlights of the trailer is the powerful background score by A. R. Rahman. The music adds emotional depth and intensity to every frame, enhancing the film’s rustic atmosphere and dramatic action sequences.
Janhvi Kapoor makes her Telugu cinema debut as Achiyamma, Peddi’s love interest. Her chemistry with Ram Charan has already become a talking point among fans. The film also features strong performances from Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani.
