Six Legendary Tigers, One Epic Tribute: Ranthambore Gears Up For Its Biggest Wildlife Celebration Yet

Ananya soch: If tigers and their untold stories have ever captured your imagination, this is one event you won't want to miss. The 5th edition of the Royal Ranthambore International Tiger Week (ITW), one of India's most celebrated wildlife conservation platforms, is all set to take place from June 26 to 28 in Ranthambore. This year's theme, "Conserve India's Finest Tigers," promises a power-packed lineup, with the biggest highlight being a special tribute session dedicated to six legendary tigers whose stories have inspired millions and shaped India's conservation movement.

Hosted at the Aamagarh Wildlife Resort and Castle Jhoomar Baori, the three-day event goes far beyond panel discussions. Expect keynote lectures, gripping Conservation Stories, a dedicated Wildlife Photography showcase, and immersive experiences set against Ranthambore's breathtaking natural backdrop. Adding star power to the occasion will be renowned wildlife conservationist Dr. Latika Nath, celebrated Ranthambore naturalist Vijay Singh Meena, actor-writer-producer Rahul Singh, and Wildlife SOS co-founder and CEO Kartick Satyanarayan. Together, they'll dive deep into pressing topics like Tiger Conservation, Wildlife Corridors, Responsible Tourism, and Human-Wildlife Coexistence.

But the real showstopper is the Conservation Awards Ceremony, where honours will be handed out across 11 distinct categories, including Tiger Reserve of the Year, Chief Minister of the Year (Wildlife Leadership Award), Wildlife Photographer/Film of the Year, and Journalist of the Year for Wildlife and Environment. These prestigious awards will be decided by a jury chaired by V.P. Singh Badnore, former Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh.

Adding to the excitement, the event will also feature a National Wildlife Photography Competition and a Tiger Conservation Painting Competition, giving everyday nature lovers a chance to be part of this movement. A special welfare initiative will also recognize the tireless efforts of frontline forest staff who work silently to protect India's wildlife. With this blend of glamour, gravitas, and genuine conservation spirit, ITW 2026 is shaping up to be more than just an event — it's a celebration of India's incredible tiger legacy.
