Ananya soch: The host of the program, Mr. Abhishek Mishra, delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the members and shedding light on the objectives and dynamism of JIG & Topic.
Topic: "Race to Dominate the AI Era – Who Will Be the Winners and Losers?"
The special guest speaker, Mr. Ravish Gupta, presented an in-depth analysis of the global AI landscape. He explained the strategies adopted by leading nations such as the USA, China, and Europe to strengthen their hold on AI and emphasized how developing countries can position themselves in this race.
Addressing the topic, JIG speaker Ms. Kamla Poddar elaborated on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing various sectors and becoming a decisive factor in global competitiveness. She highlighted which areas are likely to benefit from the rapid advancement of AI and which ones might be left behind.
Additionally, Shri Deepak Bhargav the Director of Rajasthan Police Intelligence Training Academy (ITA), Jaipur – a senior IPS officer – discussed at length the impact of AI on the security sector. He explained how AI is playing a crucial role in strengthening crime control, cybersecurity, and intelligence operations.
A Q&A and suggestion session was also conducted among JIG members, where each member contributed with a relevant question, answer, or suggestion related to the topic. This dialogue led to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subject.
