Rajasthan Unveils Vision 2030 Blueprint: 12 New Policies to Drive Investment, Innovation & Sustainability

Ananya soch: Rajasthan Unveils Vision 2030 Blueprint:  Rajasthan is set to make another significant stride in its development journey with the introduction of 12 new progressive policies aimed at holistic growth and future-ready governance. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, these policies follow the successful launch of 22 earlier initiatives that strengthened the state’s investment ecosystem and ease of doing business. The upcoming policies are planned to be rolled out before Pravasi Rajasthani Divas and target a wide range of sectors—from agriculture and artificial intelligence to tourism and green growth.

The Industrial Policy and Rajasthan Trade Promotion Policy will reinforce the state’s manufacturing ecosystem, foster large-scale investments, and enhance trade competitiveness. The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Policy aims to establish Rajasthan as a hub for AI-driven enterprises and R&D innovation, while the Global Capability Centre (GCC) Policy will attract multinational corporations to set up knowledge and service hubs.

Pushing towards high-tech frontiers, the Semiconductor and Space & Aero Defence Policies will position the state as a leader in advanced manufacturing and aerospace innovation. On the tourism front, the New Tourism Policy will focus on developing world-class infrastructure and promoting heritage, eco, and rural tourism.

Speaking on the vision, Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, said, “The upcoming policies reflect GoR’s vision for future-ready governance, driving investment, innovation, and employment generation across sectors.”

Further strengthening sustainability, the Green Growth Credit and Vehicle Scrappage Policies will encourage eco-friendly practices and green mobility. Complementing them, the Agriculture & Food Processing and IT Outsourcing, Forest & Agro-Forestry Policies will enhance rural livelihoods and environmental balance, while the Sports Policy will help Jaipur emerge as a premier sports hub.

Together, these 12 policies outline a comprehensive blueprint for Rajasthan’s transformation—balancing economic prosperity, innovation, and sustainability to shape India’s next growth powerhouse.
