National Winner to Represent India at Asia Finals in Kuala Lumpur

Ananya soch: Monin Coffee Creativity Cup 2025: The Monin Coffee Creativity Cup (MCCC) 2025 reached its high point in Jaipur, where India’s most promising baristas gathered for the national finals after a rigorous series through Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. This year’s edition recorded over a thousand registrations, making it one of the largest and most competitive formats seen so far.
The choice of Jaipur as the host city carried strategic intent. With growing interest in handcrafted brews and an expanding café footprint, it’s quickly becoming one of MONIN’s most exciting markets in India. The showcase served as a celebration of this shift, with top talent from across the country competing for the national title.
The competition followed this year’s theme — ‘Alchemy of Flavors–A Fusion of MONIN & Exquisite Coffee’ — which encouraged innovation through espresso-based mocktails crafted with MONIN’s flavour range. Participants were evaluated on creativity, balance, presentation, and clarity of concept.
After a full day of preparation and judging, Harsita Ghatge was declared the winner. Their recipe, Iced Kahwa Espresso , stood out for its distinct taste layers and thoughtful approach. Inspired by real-life events, respect for the country, and memories and emotions poured into a cup, the creation earned her the chance to represent India at the Asia Finals in Kuala Lumpur this September 2025.
“This competition gave me space to explore flavour combinations in a way I hadn’t tried before,” said Harsita Ghatge. “Each stage brought its own challenges and helped me recognise my strengths while learning how to balance creativity with structure. The Jaipur round brought together some incredibly skilled baristas, being chosen among them means a lot. This win has given me the confidence to keep moving forward in this pursuit.”
In Kuala Lumpur, India’s winner will join top baristas from across the region, including MONIN CUP 2024 champion Juseong Park from South Korea, who returns as a jury member for the 2025 edition of the competition. Alongside the title opportunity, the prize includes a cash award, a coffee origin tour, and access to industry events with global experts.Commenting on the conclusion, Mr. Germain Araud, Managing Director, MONIN India, said, “MCCC 2025 has been a landmark edition. The response has been extraordinary, and Jaipur offered the right backdrop; fresh, energetic, and connected to a growing beverage culture. This competition continues to offer valuable exposure to individuals looking to shape their careers. The ideas, stories, and profiles we saw this year reflect how far India’s coffee scene has come.”MONIN Coffee Creativity Cup goes beyond competition. It brings visibility to participants at different stages of their progress, offering access to mentors, peers, and opportunities to advance. The initiative reflects MONIN’s commitment to skill development and knowledge exchange, in line with its ‘Community’ pillar.
